development organizations that assist agricultural enterprises, cooperatives
and associations by providing short-term technical assistance in management,
business-planning and improving production, processing and marketing of
business products. ACDI VOCA and Winrock International carry out micro
lending programs through the foundation of local loan funds. Both organizations
received funding from the U.S. Gency for International Development (USAID).
